It's a floor gone conclusion

Sorry - I couldn't resist that one.

Work resumed at the Oyster House today after a week of doing other things.  I ripped out what remained of the old bedroom floors.  There was a lot of ropy old rotten wood in one room that is good for nothing but a large bonfire (that's a shame - you know how much I hate them!).  The floor in the other room had clearly been mostly replaced at some point so I will store the wood from that and it should keep us in kindling for the stove for many years to come.

We are well on track to finish the all jobs we intended to do before the building work starts in January.  I have still got a trailer load of wood to shift and we are going to remove all the vegetation from the side wall next to the lane.
