Windows are in!

When we went over the Oyster House last week were delighted to see all the windows had gone in.  They look a bit stark on the outside without the cedar cladding but we are very pleased with them and the view looking out through the Juliet balcony window at the front is fantastic.

Elsewhere, most of the construction work on the roof has been done so we are now almost ready for the fibreglass skin (on the flat bits) and the zinc (on the lantern).  Inside, the framing for the stud walling has gone in and this week we have been going over some of the details of the layouts with Richard the electrician and Steve the plumber, both of whom are now getting on very well with their first fixes.
